    Oct 27, 2009· We've got a military ball to go to in december, and I'm not exactly sure how "dressy" would be appropriate for a semi-formal ball. I don't want to over-do it. What kind of dresses do women usually wear to semi-formal military balls? Aside from the obvious (not too short, etc) would it be too much to wear a long dress? Thanks.
